AFRAA

The African Airlines Association (AFRAA) stands as the premier trade association representing airlines across the African Union. Established in Accra, Ghana, in 1968, AFRAA has emerged as a cornerstone of the continent's aviation industry.

Membership: Comprising 50 esteemed airlines, including major intercontinental operators, AFRAA's membership base collectively accounts for over 85% of the total international air traffic carried by African airlines.

Partnership: AFRAA's influence extends beyond airlines, with 35 strategic partners actively engaged in the association's partnership program dedicated to fostering the development of air transport across Africa. These partners encompass a diverse array of stakeholders, ranging from aircraft and engine manufacturers to aviation equipment suppliers, global distribution companies, IT and e-commerce solution providers, and various other entities within the aviation sector.

Together, AFRAA and its members and partners are dedicated to advancing the interests of African aviation, driving growth, and enhancing connectivity throughout the continent.
